Turkey on both rails: package and flight are both cheaper than most days we have tracked
Most 'package vs. flight' comparisons rest on one day and one subtraction. We have both series, so here is what each of them actually did - and, more importantly, what you cannot subtract from them.
For some destinations Voyscout tracks two independent price series: the cheapest package and the cheapest flight. For Turkey, as of 8 Aug 2026, both are deep enough to say something about - and both say the same thing: today sits in the cheaper half of its own history.

As of 8 Aug 2026 a package to Turkey for a family of 2+2 at 25,420 CZK is cheaper than 89% of the days we measured. The flight for the same family at 10,581 CZK (as of 7 Aug 2026) is cheaper than 70% of measured days. Both figures are totals for the whole party, not per person.
And now the number you cannot get from those two
The gap between 25,420 and 10,581 is not the price of accommodation. Each series is the cheapest offer of its own kind on a given day: different dates, different lengths, different airports. They are not two prices for the same trip, so subtracting them describes nothing anyone can buy. Writing "so the hotel costs about 15,000" would manufacture a figure that appears in no data we hold - and that is the thing this site exists not to do.
What the overlap CAN say: right now it is not only packages or only flights that are cheap. These are two different markets - charter capacity and scheduled fares - and they agree, which for Turkey in late summer is not a given. When only one series moves, it is usually news about that one series.
Which rail is for whom
A family that wants all-inclusive and a transfer compares against the first row. Someone building the trip themselves compares against the second - and has to add lodging, airport transport and food, none of which is in a fare. That is why Voyscout never says "the flight is the better choice": that is a verdict, and a verdict belongs to a specific profile, its travel window and its party, not to an article.
