Add Voyscout to your home screen

Pin Voyscout to your home screen and it's one tap away, full-screen, like an app - no browser hunting.

iPhone / iPad - Safari
  1. Open voyscout.com/app in Safari (on iPhone and iPad, adding to the Home Screen works from Safari only - not Chrome or Firefox on iOS).
  2. Tap the Share icon - a square with an up-arrow. It's at the bottom-centre on iPhone, top-right on iPad.
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
  4. Confirm the name and tap Add. Voyscout appears as a home-screen icon and opens full-screen, without the browser bar.

Honesty note: since iOS 16.4 third-party browsers can add to the Home Screen too, but they all run on Apple's WebKit under the hood - Safari is the reliable path, so we tell you to use it. On iOS 26 the Add-to-Home-Screen dialog gained an "Open as Web App" toggle (on by default) - leaving it on gives the standalone app; off gives a plain Safari bookmark.

Android - Chrome
  1. Open voyscout.com/app in Chrome. It may show an "Install app" bar on its own - just tap it.
  2. Otherwise tap the ⋮ menu (three dots, top-right).
  3. Tap "Add to Home screen" / "Install app" (the exact wording varies by Chrome version - look for the item with a screen or phone icon).
  4. Confirm Add / Install. The icon lands on your home screen and the app runs full-screen.
Android - Firefox & Samsung Internet

Firefox: menu -> "Add to Home screen". Samsung Internet: a "+" (or house) icon appears in the address bar -> "Add to Home screen"; otherwise the menu -> same. (Note: on Firefox and Samsung this is closer to a shortcut than a full app - for the full experience we suggest Chrome.)

Desktop - Chrome & Edge
  1. Open voyscout.com/app.
  2. In the address bar (right side) click the install icon - a monitor with a down-arrow.
  3. Click "Install" in the dialog. Voyscout opens in its own window, like a normal app.
  4. No icon? Chrome menu -> "Cast, save and share" -> "Install Voyscout"; Edge ... menu -> "Apps" -> "Install this site as an app".
Desktop - Firefox

Desktop Firefox can't install Voyscout as a one-click app (unlike Chrome, Edge or Safari). Either bookmark the page, or use Chrome, Edge or Safari for a home-screen or dock app. (Power users: the experimental "Taskbar Tabs" in Firefox Labs - Windows only - or the PWAsForFirefox extension.)

Mac - Safari 17+
  1. Open voyscout.com/app in Safari (macOS Sonoma / Safari 17 or newer).
  2. In the toolbar click Share (or the File menu) -> "Add to Dock".
  3. Confirm the name and icon. Voyscout appears in the Dock and opens in its own window without the browser bar.

Note: Voyscout needs an internet connection (it shows live data after you sign in), so it doesn't work offline - we don't promise an offline mode.
