Asia fares over three weeks: Male down by 9,000 CZK, Phuket did not move
Long-haul fares are usually discussed as one market. Our four Asian series over the same three weeks show they do not behave like one.
This one is entirely about flights - no packages. Every figure is a total for a family of 2 adults + 2 children, return, departing from eight airports within reach (OSR, KTW, KRK, WRO, BTS, VIE, BUD, PRG), staying 11-16 nights. Each is the cheapest offer we found that day within that range.

As of 8 Aug 2026 return fares to Male for a family of 2+2 cost 57,642 CZK - 9,169 CZK less than on 19 Jul 2026, when we started measuring this series. Bangkok fell from 52,828 CZK to 46,694 CZK over the same period.
Phuket is the interesting series
While Male and Bangkok moved by thousands, Phuket stayed between 51,355 CZK and 53,797 CZK across twenty days - a range of under 5% around its own median (about 51,950 CZK). Bangkok, in the same window, moved by more than 11,000 CZK between its minimum and maximum. Two Thai airports, one market, two completely different amplitudes.
There is a practical point in that: "I will wait for a dip" only makes sense for a series that dips. Phuket produced none in these three weeks, so waiting for one would be waiting for something the data does not contain.
What this table does NOT say
It is not advice to buy or to wait. Three weeks is a short series, and every figure is the cheapest offer found on that day for one specific party and trip length - a different party or a different number of nights produces different numbers, which is why we never mix them.
