Tunisia in December: the family fare fell 16% in a month
Not two different flights - the same route and dates, tracked for 24 straight scans - and the price fell 16%.
As of 17 Aug 2026, a return flight for a family (2 adults + 2 children) from Prague to Enfidha, Tunisia for 10-17 Dec 2026 (7 nights) costs 31,940 CZK - 6,266 CZK (16.4%) less than our scan of the same route and same dates showed under a month earlier, on 23 Jul 2026. This is not two different flights: we have tracked this exact combination - Prague to Enfidha, departing 10 Dec, returning 17 Dec - for 24 consecutive scans, because it has been the cheapest of every date-and-airport combination our grid searches, every single day.
Four weeks, one route
The scan combines seven departure airports within reach (Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Krakow, Katowice, Ostrava, Wroclaw) and two Tunisian gateways (Enfidha, Djerba) across hundreds of dates between September 2026 and January 2027. Since 23 Jul 2026, the same combination has won that whole grid every time - Prague to Enfidha, 10-17 Dec. The price did not fall in a straight line, but the 24-day trend is clear.
| Scan day | Price (family 2+2) |
|---|---|
| 23 Jul 2026 (first record of this combination) | 38,206 CZK |
| 30 Jul 2026 | 36,248 CZK |
| 6 Aug 2026 | 36,661 CZK |
| 13 Aug 2026 | 33,607 CZK |
| 17 Aug 2026 (today, the series floor so far) | 31,940 CZK |
Median of the full 24-day series: 36,135 CZK. The 17 Aug 2026 price is the lowest point we've recorded for this combination - none of the previous 23 scans went lower.
Why this particular December week is so cheap
10-17 Dec 2026 falls in an ordinary school week - the Christmas holidays, per the official 2026/2027 school-year calendar (MSMT), only start on 23 Dec 2026 and run to 3 Jan 2027. Our own grid confirms the pattern: the same day's scan (17 Aug) prices the 20-27 Dec 2026 week, which already falls inside the school holidays, at 59,817 CZK - almost double. That's not an estimate from a second source, just two dates from the same scan of the same route.
What to do with this
Flight prices come from search results, so they are indicative - the price that counts is what the vendor shows at checkout, and extreme lows can vanish within hours. But a declining series for one specific route-and-date combination is a different thing from a random blip - it's the same kind of comparison against our own history covered in How we watch flight prices. Anyone considering an off-holiday December week is looking at a better price now than this combination has shown across its last 24 scans.
