Pattaya at 69,610 CZK: why BUY just fired

Of every destination we track for a family right now, only one has both enough history and a price sitting at its own floor: Pattaya.

Deal of the week

Most weeks, no package actually clears the bar for BUY - either there isn't enough history yet, or the price hasn't reached its own floor. As of 2026-07-27, among the packages Voyscout tracks for a family (2 adults + 2 children), there is exactly one exception: Pattaya, Thailand.

A price at the floor of its own history

Prima Hotel Pattaya (Ex Prima Wongamat), 4 stars, breakfast board, 7 nights departing 6 October 2026, priced in the catalogue at 69,610 CZK for the family (17,402 CZK/pp). That's not just a low number - it's exactly the minimum of the last 20 days we've tracked this route; the median over the same window is 71,580 CZK. The price sits in the cheapest tenth (10th percentile) of its own history, and it's verified directly with the vendor, not just a search-result guess.

Catalogue price (6 Oct 2026, 7 nights, family) 69,610 CZK

Median of the last 20 days 71,580 CZK

Real price (+ transfer + meals beyond breakfast) ~79,879 CZK

Family of 2+2, as of 2026-07-27. Data: Voyscout's own price history, price verified with the vendor. Indicative, verify with the provider.

Why October specifically

It's not a coincidence. October is still the tail of Pattaya's rainy season - September and October are the wettest months of the year, and the calmer, drier stretch only starts in November, when hotels traditionally switch to high-season pricing (Pattaya Unlimited). The 6 October date falls in the last weeks before that switch - and the trend on our side is stable, not falling, so this isn't a fire sale over some problem, just a seasonal window that's slowly closing.

What "real price" means for this package

Breakfast-only isn't all-inclusive, so we add the airport transfer (3,703 CZK) and extra meals (6,566 CZK) to the real price - together ~79,879 CZK for the whole family. Even with that markup, the offer stays below the median of its own history, unlike catalogue "deals" that vanish once real costs are added (how we compute the real price is covered in Real price: what we count into it, and why). Flying it yourself for the same dates costs around 57,743 CZK for the family in flights alone from Vienna (bags and transfer included) - and you'd still need to source and pay for the hotel and food separately, so the package isn't the pricier choice here.

What to do with it

This is exactly what the percentile and the moving trend exist for - not to say "cheap", but to say cheap compared to what, and how confident we are in that claim. How percentile, median and trend become a verdict is covered in How we read price history; the full process lives on How Voyscout works. The trend isn't rising right now - but the season is approaching its turn, which is exactly why the early-October date beats a November one.
