Voyscout is in the official ChatGPT plugin gallery: ask about flight and package prices right in the chat

Until now you had to add our MCP server to ChatGPT by hand in developer mode. From today you open Plugins, find Voyscout.com, click Connect and start asking.

How-to

Today, 7 Oct 2026, OpenAI approved Voyscout.com as a ChatGPT plugin and we published it in the official gallery. Under the hood it is the same MCP server we have run since the summer: five read-only tools over the price series we measure daily for 47 destinations from airports in Czechia and nearby (Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Ostrava, Katowice, Krakow, Wroclaw, Budapest). Only the way in is new: two clicks in ChatGPT instead of developer mode and a hand-pasted URL.

How to turn it on

  • In the ChatGPT mobile app: Search Plugins, find Voyscout.com, tap Connect.
  • On desktop or the web: Plugins, Voyscout.com, Connect.
  • Then type @Voyscout.com followed by your question, for example "@Voyscout.com where is it unusually cheap right now for two adults and two children?". The mention tells ChatGPT to answer from our data.
  • The step-by-step guide for iPhone, Android and desktop, with more example prompts: voyscout.com/chatgpt.

You create no account with us and need no key: the plugin reads the same public data as our price pages. ChatGPT handles your conversation; what reaches us is the tool name and its arguments, that is a destination, a party, or a list of destinations to compare.

What to ask

The best questions are the ones a person struggles to answer alone:

  • "Where is it unusually cheap right now for two adults and two children?" - one call walks every tracked series, flights and packages, and ranks them by how the last measurement compares with their own history.
  • "Compare Malta, Bulgaria and Turkey for a 2+2 family on the same snapshot." - side by side, in the order you asked.
  • "Show me the package price history for Egypt and where today's price sits in it."
  • "How many days of history do you have for Thailand, and from which airports?" - the plugin tells you what it actually measured, including that depth differs rail by rail.

You can ask in Czech, Slovak or English; the data carries destination names in Czech and English and prices in CZK.

An example from this evening

The first question after publication was the first one on that list, asked on the evening of 7 Oct 2026. ChatGPT called the find_opportunities tool and answered with five lines, which we compared with what the server actually returned (family of 2 adults + 2 children, latest measured totals):

DestinationRailLatest measurementMedian of its own seriesBelow median
Maldives (Malé)flight48,245 CZK57,434 CZK16%, also the series low (73 measured days)
Zanzibarpackage60,848 CZK92,565 CZK34%, series low (92 days)
Moroccopackage28,468 CZK34,810 CZK18%, series low (96 days)
Italypackage17,190 CZK24,485 CZK30%
Spainpackage15,490 CZK21,236 CZK27%

All five numbers matched to the koruna. ChatGPT added on its own that these are recently observed family totals, not live quotes, that package inclusions vary and that a flight figure is airfare only. That is exactly what an answer built on our data should contain.

What the plugin deliberately does not do

  • It does not say "buy" or "wait". A series is an observation. We write verdicts only on our own pages, where the caveats travel with them (how we compute them); we do not hand them to a third party stripped of those caveats.
  • It does not lead to a purchase. No vendor links, no sponsored content in the answers.
  • It is not a live price. Every answer carries the day it is valid for and the number of days actually measured. Percentages are over the days we measured, not over the calendar.
  • It does not guess. A destination we do not track is refused with the list of those we do, instead of a "something similar" substitute.

For developers and agents

The ChatGPT gallery is the third road to the same server, next to the official MCP registry (com.voyscout/price-history) and a manual connector in Claude or any other MCP client. The endpoint, the tools and the licence (CC BY 4.0, prices in CZK) do not change; the human guide is on the AI agents page. After publication OpenAI rescans the server daily, so tool improvements reach ChatGPT users without a new plugin version.

The figures here are the state as of 7 Oct 2026 and we do not rewrite them; the current version of every series lives on the destination page.
